The Jamar
Company was in charge of all mechanical work in the
Lakeview Building including heating and cooling systems.
The various disciplines and overall Jamar construction effort was coordinated
by one project manager.
Prior to construction the Jamar team met with project architects and engineers
to discuss specific requirements and recommend products that would perform
cost effectively. This resulted in reduced costs for waterproofing, building
insulation and masonry accessories used throughout the project. |

Refrigeration, a division of The Jamar Company, installed
carbon dioxide detectors in the parking structures
and a TAC climate control system throughout the Lakeview
Building. TAC controllers allow technicians to obtain
information remotely from the heating and cooling air
handling units.
The system is modem connected which adds versatility. Critical alarms can be
programmed to dial out on a phone line to notify technicians of a problem.
Service personnel can dial into the system from a remote location to diagnose
issues that may arise. |
