The Courage Kenny Shoot For Fun is a fundraiser supporting the Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute. This year, over 90 teams made up of 450 shooters participated in the event. This was the largest shoot to date!
Thanks to your support, they raised over $210,000, a 31% increase over last year! Proceeds benefit Courage Kenny – Northland’s sports and recreation programs for individuals with physical disabilities, vision loss or autism spectrum disorder.
A huge thank you to everyone who help make this year’s event a success!
Additionally, congratulations to our own Brad Hansen! Brad was awarded the honorable Pratt Award at this year’s Shoot For Fun. This award was created in memory of Bob Pratt who was a long time friend of the Shoot For Fun.
- The Pratt award recognizes a volunteer who has made a significant contribution of time to the Shoot For Fun.
- This person should reflect Bob’s desire to be a ‘get some folks together, work hard and make it happen’ and be willing to do whatever it takes to spread the word about the event and Courage Kenny Northland Programs.
- The goal of presenting this award will be to shine light and bring attention to the critical valuable contributions volunteers make to this event and to all Courage Kenny Northland operations to a person demonstrating passion and leadership in helping bring new people to the event (sponsors, volunteers, prizes) creating awareness about Courage Kenny mission and services.
- This award should be presented to a person that has taken significant initiative to move the event forward by empowering others to join the volunteer run SFF event that raises operating support for Courage Kenny Northland programs.
