We’re excited to announce our recently secured, on-going work with one of the best companies in the Twin Ports – Calumet LLC, Superior Refinery.
The work encompasses pipefitter and boilermaker maintenance work and turnarounds. It will involve a few of our departments at Jamar, including the QA/QC (Quality Assurance/Quality Control), Industrial, and hopefully adding roofing. Our QA/QC Department has six inspectors on site performing various quality control, inspections, project coordination, and preventative maintenance planning.
Jamar employees and Calumet maintenance and engineering teams met over the course of a couple months. Together they created a collaborative approach to us working together. The new contract will be very beneficial to both Jamar and Calumet.
“Calumet has always been a key account for Jamar, we consider this opportunity to be a win/win for both Jamar and Calumet. We are local and can support the refinery with a quick response to any situation that would come up, whether mechanical, tools and equipment, specialty fabrication. We are only a few miles away,” said Kevin Osterling.
